Biography
Francis was born and lived in Lot 18, Baltic, PEI his entire life. He married Rebecca Ann Tuplin in 1879 and had 6 children however the marriage didn't work out. Rebecca left in 1900 and went to United States with her 3 daughters. In the 1901 census of Canada, Francis was living in Baltic with his son, John R. and was listed as a widdower even though his wife was still living. The History of Baltic states that he married Isabelle Bryanton, yet there is no record of a marriage. They had 3 children, yet Francis not mentioned on any birth record, and the children are not found on any census until 1921. Francis is listed as the head of the family, Isabellie is listed as daughter or partner, ahd two children listed as grandchildren. Isabelle and the two children last names are listed as Hillman, even though they grew up and were married as Bryanton.
