Robert August Hindersman, son of Robert A Hindersmann (1859-1925)and Matilda Johanna (Schwecke) Hindersmann (1859-1896), was born on January 20, 1895 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

His siblings were:

On September 6, 1916, Robert married Clara E (Weidig) Hindersman (1895-1981) there in Cincinnati.[1]

Their children were:

He was a mechanic by trade, active in the Presbyterian church, and involved in the Masons and the Order of the Eastern Star.[2][3][4]

Robert died on May 20, 1972 in Montgomery, Ohio, aged 77, and buried in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Evendale, Ohio.[5][6][2][3]

Military Service

Robert was a veteran of World War I. He was in the U.S. Naval Reserve and served stateside in Ohio and Virginia.[7][8][9] He registered for the World War II draft but was not called up.[10]

In the 1940 census Robert (age 45) was the married head of household in Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio.[15]

In the 1950 census Robert (age 55), mantanace reahanie, was the married head of household in Sycamore, Symmes Township, Hamilton, Ohio.[16]
