John (Hirschfield) Hirschfeld was born in South Australia, Australia

Johannes Theodor Hirschfeld was born on 10 February 1903 in Mount Torrens, South Australia.^[1] His parents were Jacob Daniel Hirschfeld and Augusta Paulina Geister.

He married Alice Mary Brennan on 27 May 1930 in Calingiri, Western Australia.^[2] They had one child during their marriage.

On 29 June 1931 John and his brother Benjamin were travelling in a truck when it was hit by a train at the level crossing on Oats Street, Carlisle, Western Australia.^[3] John died on impact from the injuries sustained. He died as a young father.^[4] He was buried in the Church of Christ section at Karrakatta Cemetery and Crematorium, Karrakatta, Nedlands City, Western Australia, Australia.^[5]
