Biography
Betsey Hitchcock was born on 27 November 1765 in New Milford, Litchfield, Connecticut, daughter of Aaron Hitchcock and Elizabeth Trowbridge.[1]
Betsey married Stiles Curtiss (36) (born on February 3, 1761 in Huntington, Fairfield, Connecticut; son of Elnathan Curtiss and Sarah (Ufford) Curtiss) about 1798.[2]Their children were:
- Zephorah Curtiss (1789–1827)
- Aaron Curtiss (1798– )
- Sally Curtiss (1800– )
- Morgan Curtiss (1802–1881)
- Polly Curtiss (1803– )
- Stiles Curtiss (1806– )
Betsey died on April 29, 1816[3]and was buried in Long Hill Burial Ground, Shelton, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States with a death date of 29 April 1816.[4]
