In the 1911 census William (age 3) was the son of John Dunn Hocking in Goldsithney Marazion, Perranuthnoe, Cornwall, England. His father
John Dunn Hocking,was married, head of household, age 31, a labourer wagoner, born in Sancreed Cornwall. His wife Nellie Hocking, age 29, born in St Hilary, Cornwall. Their son William John Hocking was age 3 years and born in Perranuthoe, Cornwall. Son Charles Leonard Hocking was age 2, born Perranuthoe, Cornwall.[2]
Marriage
William married Sarah Ellen Payne (1908 - 1977) in 1928 in Penzance. [3]
In the 1939 register William (age 31) a farmers labourer was the married head of the household living in Goldsithney, Cornwall. His wife Florence E born 13 July 1915 was a housekeer.[4]
William died in 1963 in Kerrier, Cornwall, England aged ~55. [5]
