Jane was born in 1795.
1841 census: Petteril Crooks, Ousby, Penrith, Cumberland, age 45.[1]
1851 census: Hesket, Cumberland, age 56, born Carlisle, Cumberland.[2]
1861 census: Petteril Crooks, Penrith, Cumberland, age 67, born Carlisle, Cumberland.[3]
1871 census: Petteril Crooks, Penrith, Cumberland, age 76, born Cumberland. Daughter Hannah, 48, dairymaid, born Cumberland. Grandchildren: James, 29, tailor, born Cumberland; Elizabeth, 17, born Cumberland; John, 12, born Northumberland.[4]
Her death age 78 was registered at Penrith, Cumberland in the fourth quarter of 1873.[5]
