Birth

Hobert Anthis Hoffner was born in Johnson County, Illinois, on 29 Jul 1916.^[1] He was the son of Benjamin W. Hoffner and Orpha Hoffner, with whom he was living at Cache Township in Johnson County in 1920 at the age of three years and one month,^[2] and at Flint, Michigan in 1940 at the age of 23.^[3]

Military Service

Herbert A. Hoffner enlisted in the United States Army on 30 Sep 1942 and was discharged on 7 Nov 1945.^[4]

Marriage

Hobert A. Hoffner married Helen M. Jewell at Flint, Michigan, on 5 Sep 1946.^[5]

Death

Hobert A. Hoffner of Davison, Michigan, died at Flint, Michigan, on 9 Apr 1985.^[6][7]
