In the 1851 census William (age 8) was living with his parents and siblings in Wheatley, Oxfordshire, England.[2]
William married Ann Morris on 24 February 1867 in Wheatley, Oxfordshire, England. He was working as a labourer at the time of the marriage and both were living in Wheatley. [3]
In the 1871 census William (age 28) was living with his wife and daughters Sarah and Alice in Wheatley, Oxfordshire, England.[4]
In the 1881 census William (age 38, Drives A Coal Cart) was living with his wife and 7 children in Crown Rd, Wheatley, Oxfordshire, England.[5]
In the 1911 census William (age 68, Farm Labourer) was living with wife Ann and son Harry in Church Road Wheatley Oxon Oxford, Holton and Horspath, England.[6]
Research notes
Is William the William Holder who was buried in Worminghall on 10 Apr 1818- the age of 75 fits but there is no obvious connection with Worminghall (perhaps one of his children settle there and he went to live with them after his wife's death in 1914?)
