Ellen Mary Holdrege was born on 10 September 1851 in Mamaroneck, Westchester, New York, United States.

In the 1870 census Ellen (age 18) was in Greenburgh, Westchester, New York, United States.[2]
Ellen (age 23), daughter of Henry Holdrege and Mary R., married Charles Fessenden Morse (age 35) on 19 October 1874 in Milton, Norfolk, Massachusetts, United States.[3]
In the 1900 census Ellen (age 49) was the wife of Charles F Morse in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri, United States.[4]
In the 1910 census Ellen (age 58) was the wife of Charles F Morse in Kansas City Ward 4, Jackson, Missouri, United States.[5]
In the 1920 census Ellen (age 68) was the wife of Charles F Morse in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States.[6]
Ellen died on 30 April 1940 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States, aged 88. She was interred in Oak Grove Cemetery, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.[7]
