Biography
Walter was born about 1863 in Liversedge, Yorkshire, England, where he lived with his parents, William Holdroyd and Ann, in 1871.[1] The family lived in Cleckheaton, Yorkshire, in 1881.[2]
In 1891 Walter lived with his cousin, William Holdroyd, in Cleckheaton. He worked as a mechanic.[3]
Walter married Annie Ward in Batley, Yorkshire, in 1891.[4][5] In 1901 the family lived in Liversedge, Yorkshire, where Walter was an engine turner.[6]
Walter died before 1911, when Annie and her children lived in Brighouse, Yorkshire.[7]
