Biography
Adrian Michael Holland was born on 23 April 1934, at Gore, Southland, New Zealand.[1] He was the son of Thomas Michael Holland (1906-1983) and Jane Smyth (1908-1989).
Adrian married May Isabella Argyle (1935-2012), in 1956, at New Zealand.[2] They had four children.
He passed away on 21 June 2021, at Gore, Southland, New Zealand.[3]
| HOLLAND, Adrian Michael (Tangy). Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Gore Hospital, on Monday, June 21, 2021, aged 87 years. Husband of the late May, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Wendy Plaisted (Gore), June and Russell Lake (deceased) (Sydney), Chris and Jean (Sydney), Margaret and Lockie Waddell (Gore), loved Grandad and Grandad Poppy of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved son of Thomas and Jane (both deceased), loved brother and brother-in-law of Topsy and Peter Tapper (both deceased), Judy and Les (deceased) Norman, Tom and Val Holland, loved brother-in-law of May's family, loved Uncle of his nieces and nephews and friend to many. "He will be dearly missed." A service to celebrate Adrian's (Tangy's) life will be held in the Gore RSA Function Room, Bowler Avenue, on Thursday, June 24 at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Charlton Park Cemetery. Donations may be left at the service for Hokonui St John Ambulance. Special thanks to the nursing teams at Gore Hospital and Resthaven Village for their kind and compassionate care of Adrian and family. Messages to 13 Walker Street, Gore 9710.[4] |
