Biography

Harvey Craig Hollar was born on July 3, 1907 in Catawba County, North Carolina to parents Baxter Hollar and Alice Fredonia Isenhower. ^[1]

Harvey married Bertha Lydia Harris^[2] on April 13, 1929 in Iredell County (area now more specifically known as Statesville, North Carolina).^[3] She was the daughter of Martha "Mattie" and Charles "Charlie" Harris.^[4]

The young couple had at least two children but details will be left out for the presumed living family member(s). The first child born to the young couple was a daughter, Floyd Ruth Hollar, who ultimately passed away on April 15, 1930; she was only three months and 12 days old.^[5]

He passed away April 20, 1983 after "cardio-respiratory failure" occurred as a result of "chronic obstructive pulmonary disease"^[6]Harvey was buried two days later on April 22^[7] at Sandy Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Harmony, Iredell County, North Carolina.^[8]
