Dianna Gail Watkins, age 72, of Bellefonte, died at her home surrounded by family January 23, 2014. Dianna was born on February 28, 1941, the daughter of Bert and Leatrice (Yearns) Holloway. Dianna still lived within a couple hundred feet of where she was born.

Services will be 2 PM, Saturday, January 25, 2014, at the Eagle Heights Baptist Church. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery following the service. Bro. Eddie Reed will be speaking at the services. Open visitation Friday and Saturday till service time at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be John Watkins, Gary Watkins, Bob Watts, Hoot Simmons, Keith Cornett and Tim Addis. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elizabeth Sunday School Class of Eagle Heights Baptist Church.

Dianna is survived by her husband Ralph Dale Watkins of the home; one daughter Pamela Gail Watkins of Bellefonte; one sister Roberta Mae Shawver and a host of other family and friends.

Dianna was a member of the Eagle Heights Baptist Church and had previously attended Bellefonte Baptist Church for 40 years. Dianna enjoyed playing the piano, singing with the choir and working with the Hand and Foot ministry.

Dianna has been an Avon Lady for 37 years, having been the #1 sales person in the district many times and receiving numerous awards throughout the years. She enjoyed her customers and visiting with each one of them.

She and Ralph enjoyed hot rods and street rods thru out their marriage. They were active in building many of them. They had made trips in their hot rods from Colorado to Knoxville and all over the Southern states. They enjoyed the local, the regional shows and certainly enjoyed the National events. Dianna had claimed one of the hot rods as her own.
