William Hollowell was born in Hackleton, Northamptonshire, England.

William Hollowell was born in 1853 in Hackleton, Northamptonshire^[1]. He was the son of John Hollowell and Elizabeth Cross.

In 1880 he married Mary Ann Powell in Northampton^{[2] [3]} and they had a son: Arthur William (b.1882, d.1930).

William died aged 31 in 1885 in Northampton^[4][5].
