Biography
William was born in 1902. He married Gladys Mottram on 8 Feb 1921 in Nantwich, Chester aged 18 years. On the marriage certificate William's profession is Apprentice Engineer Fitter (Railway Works) and his father Ernest Holmes is listed as a Locomotive Engine Driver Railway.
He passed away in 1973.
