Biography

James Hope-Wallace was born on February 20, 1872 in Kensington, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom, son of John George Frederick Hope-Wallace (1839–1900) and Mary Frances Bethune (1847–1929).[1]

In the 1881 census he (age 9), Scholar, was the son of John Hope Wallace in Kensington, London, Middlesex, England.[2]

James died on September 15, 1917 in Wancourt, Pas-de-Calais, France, aged 45. He was buried in Hibers Trench British Cemetery, Wancourt, Departement du Pas-de-Calais, Nord-Pas-de-Calais.[5]
