Death record says birth June 31, 1862 - mentions parents as Joseph Hopkins and Elizabeth Brewer both from Randolph Co, NC. An Elizabeth Hopkins age 50 was living with her father Joseph in 1880 - so, the death record some 30 years later could have mistakenly named her as Queen's mother[3]
