Biography
Robert was born 6 June 1884 at Drumshanbo, Kildress, County Tyrone. He was the son of Daniel Hopper and Ann Early. [1]
On 22 June 1920 at Clare Church of Ireland, he married Rebecca McConnell. They both lived at Drumshanbo. Witnessed by Jim L. Hopper and Maggie Black. [2]
Research Notes
He is often known as Robert D. Hopper in newspapers. Of course he should not be confused with Robert Dickson Hopper (abt.1794-1893).
His son's obituary names the children of James Hopper (abt.1860-) as "cousins", I cannot even see a way they can be second cousins, let alone first cousins.
