Riva was born on 24 Feb 1932 in Milo, Vernon, Missouri, the daughter of Roy J Householder and Lucille Palmer. ^[1]

In 1940 she was 8 years old and living with her parents, siblings and aunt in Badger Township, Vernon, Vernon, Missouri. ^[2]

She married Lavier F McMannis on 21 Jun 1949 in Carroll County, Arkansas. ^[3]/

She died on 18 Oct 1997 ^[1] in Colorado. ^[4]
