Biography
Silence Howard was born in 1736 in Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony, New England. She was the daughter of Ebenezer Howard (1700-) and his wife, Catherine Deane (1707-1801).
On 4 July 1755 in Bristol County, Massachusetts, she married Eliphalet Leonard Jr (1729-1805). The couple had 8 children: 6 sons & 2 daughters, including Catharine Ann Leonard (1758-1837) and lived in Easton, Bristol, Massachusetts.
Silence (Howard) Leonard passed away in 1802 and was buried at Seth Pratt Cemetery, Easton, Bristol County, Massachusetts, USA; Section 107. [1]
