Herman was born in 1863. He was the son of Joseph Huber and Crescentia Unknown. He passed away in 1916.

HERMAN HUBER
A thrifty and well known agriculturist of Jasper County, resides about one and one-half miles east of the village of Sty. Marie. He was born May 22, 1862 in Franklin County, Ind., and is the son of Joseph and Gresencha [Crescentia] Huber, the latter having died in 1876. Mr. Huber has a fertile tract of land consisting of 379 acres, where he resides. He was happily united in marriage to Miss Mary Wilebert [Valbert] in the year 1873. Seven children blessed this union, six girls and one boy. Our subject handles the Poland China hog, Shorthorn cattle and Shropshire sheep. He-is a member of the Roman Catholic church of Ste. Marie. Politically he is a Republican. Public spirited and progressive, he takes an active interest in all that pertains to the welfare of the community, and has ever borne his part in the advancement and progress of his County.
