Biography

William was born in South Carolina about 1820. He married "Charlotte "Lottie" Chastain" about 1840. He served the Confederacy during the American Civil War, in company C, First SC (Orr's) Rifles. He died in the Union POW camp in Elmira, New York in 1864.
