Mrs. Margaret McTaggart, wife of Mr. Charles McTaggart, of "Rosevale, Wybong, died at Brentwood Hospital on Boxing Day at the age of 80 years. One of the most widely known residents of the district, the late Mrs. McTaggart, who had been in ill-health for several months, had resided in the district for the whole of her lifetime. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Huggins, who were members of one of the earliest families to settle at Wybong, where deceased continued to reside after her marriage. Deceased is survived by one son, Mr. Austin McTaggart, and one sister, Miss Huggins, of Muswellbrook. The burial took place at the Catholic cemetery, Muswellbrook, the Rev. Father Fitzgerald officiating at the graveside.
