Sarah married Edward Alfred Stubbs on the 19th April 1868 at Port Esperance. Edward was aged 21 years. His occupation was a Farmer. Sarah was 20 when she married Edward.

From Sarah's death certificate transcription:

Sarah died 13 November 1906 at Dover. She was aged 56. Her cause of death was Accidently killed. Her parents are not stated. The informant was her brother James Price of Woodbridge. Sarah was married and husband stated as Edward Stubbs. It states Sarah's reputed birthplace was Tasmania. There are no children listed on the death certificate,

Sarah Ann was killed at the foot of the hill leading up to "Mayfield". she and her husband Edward were in a horse and cart om their way up the steep road. Sarah Ann wanted to get out and walk but Edward said no.The horse shyed tipping Sarah Ann out of the cart and over a small embankmnet, co,ing to rest against a log. The horse let the cart run back over the bank and the wheel passed over Sarah Ann's neck, breaking it and killing her instantly.

  Edward was also killed by falling from a cart in Argyle St Hobart.
