Biography

Her maiden name, Hughston, is found in daughter Grace Amelia Clark's marriage record. ^[1] Hallie Clark was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Logan & Miller Townships, Knox County, Nebraska for the June 26, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born August 1861 in Michigan and had been married for nineteen years. She was the mother of ten children of which all were still living. Also included in the household are head Edward Clark, son Frank Clark, son Charles Clark, son Harry Clark, son Olland Clark, son Warren Clark, son Harland Clark and son Oscar Clark as seen in an image of the original census.^[2]

Hattie Clark was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Logan, Knox County, Nebraska for the May 25, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1861 in Michigan and had been married twenty-nine years. She was the mother of twelve children of which all were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Edwin D Clark, son Roland Clark, son Warren Clark, son Harland Clark, son Oscar Clark, daughter Grace Clark and daughter Nina Clark.^[3]

Mrs. Hattie Clark was enumerated as head of the household at 1713 South Newton, Sioux City Precinct 15, Woodbury County, Iowa for the January 2, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1861 in Michigan, widowed and a renter as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are son Harland Clark, son Oscar Clark, daughter Grace Clark, daughter Nina Clark and lodger Harold Raun.^[4]
