John Nelson Hulbert was born on May 9, 1817 in New York, United States, son of Ira Hulbert (~1783–~1825) and Lucinda Davis (1790–1854).
Nelson died on September 30, 1877 in Stephenson County, Illinois, United States, aged 60. He was buried in Silent Hill Cemetery, McConnell, Stephenson County, Illinois.[1]
