Hamilton first married Julia W. Whitmore on 20 Jun 1847 in Jo Daviess County, Illinois.[4][6] They had the following children[4]:

Mary Amelia Hull, b. 28 Sep 1854, d. 5 Apr 1944, m. Robert Carl Lee Maxwell
Hamilton second married Mary Louisa Clarke.[1][3] They had the following children[3][4]:
Frank Hamilton Hull, b. 22 May 1861, d. 25 Jan 1884
Alice Maria Hull, b. 24 Dec 1866[7], d. 22 Jul 1899, m. Stephen Henry Jewett
Perry Clifton Hull, b. 13 Jul 1868, d. 18 Jul 1887
Hamilton Hull died on 29 Aug 1898 in Milton Junction, Rock County, Wisconsin.[4] He was buried in Milton Junction Cemetery, Milton Junction, Wisconsin.[4]
