Biography

Hamilton Hull was born on 26 Oct 1819 in Alfred, Allegany County, New York. [1] [2] [3] [4] He was the son of Richard Hull and Hannah Lamphear.[1][4] [5]

Hamilton first married Julia W. Whitmore on 20 Jun 1847 in Jo Daviess County, Illinois.[4][6] They had the following children[4]:

  1. Richard Enos Hull, b. 11 Jan 1852, d. 28 Oct 1924
  2. Mary Amelia Hull, b. 28 Sep 1854, d. 5 Apr 1944, m. Robert Carl Lee Maxwell

Hamilton second married Mary Louisa Clarke.[1][3] They had the following children[3][4]:

  1. Frank Hamilton Hull, b. 22 May 1861, d. 25 Jan 1884
  2. Alice Maria Hull, b. 24 Dec 1866[7], d. 22 Jul 1899, m. Stephen Henry Jewett
  3. Perry Clifton Hull, b. 13 Jul 1868, d. 18 Jul 1887

Hamilton Hull died on 29 Aug 1898 in Milton Junction, Rock County, Wisconsin.[4] He was buried in Milton Junction Cemetery, Milton Junction, Wisconsin.[4]
