Biography
Mary was the second child of Thomas Hungerford and Barbara Townsend. Mary was baptised on the 2nd February 1726.
She married Jonas Morris Esq of Mount Prospect in the Cork & Ross diocese in 1761.
Research notes
It is not entirely clear who Jonas Morris Esq of Mount Prospect was. She is currently shown as married to Jonas Morris (1729-1773), a brewer (and probably not an Esq) based in the City of Cork. Another possibility for her husband is Jonas Morris (1715-1781) who was certainly an Esq and whose first wife died in 1759. However, he is usually described as 'of Barley Hill' rather than 'of Mount Prospect'.
