Biography
George is the son of Eugene and Lydia Hunt. He was born on 4 July 1879 in Painesville, Ohio.
George, 20, married Bertha Strohl, 17, on 4 October 1899 in Allen County, Ohio. Bertha was born near Lima, Ohio in 1882, the daughter of S.S. and Amanda (Armitage) Strohl. It was the first marriage for both parties. [1]
George was a punch press operator. He died on 14 July 1946 at age 67, at Grace Heate Convalescent Hospital, Toledo, Ohio, after a stay of 60 days. His wife Bertha was 64 when he passed away. George died of chronic myocarditis due to arteriosclerosis. Mrs. Elizabeth Hunt, of Fremont, Ohio was informant to his death. He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery on 17 July 1946. [2]
