Jane Elizabeth Charlotte was born on the 5 March 1882 in the City of Bangalore (aka Bengaluru), on the Deccan Plateau, in the state of Karnataka, Southern India[1]. Her parents were Walter Hurlock and Jane Mary Davison.

Marriage
Jane Elizabeth Charlotte (Hurlock) marries John (Hill) between October and December 1900 in the District of Medway, in Kent, England. John was born around 1875 in Ireland and was a Stoker, 1st Class, in the Royal Navy[3].

Between 1882 and 1886, Jane Elizabeth Charlotte (Hurlock) is with her parents Walter (Hurlock) and Jane Mary (Davison) living in the City of Bangalore (aka Bengaluru), on the Deccan Plateau, in the state of Karnataka, Southern India. She is living there with her siblings Ada Emily, Maud Martha May and Blanche Winifred "Minnie" (Hurlock)[6][7].
However, by 1891, Jane is living as an Inmate at the The Royal Victoria Patriotic Building, located off Trinity Road in Wandsworth, London, England. It was built in 1859 primarily as an asylum for girls orphaned during the Crimean War. She was only 9 years old at the time[8]. With the Census of 1901, she is married to John (Hill) and living with him and her sisters Ada Emily, Maud Martha Mary and Blanche Winifred "Minnie" (Hurlock). Their address is The Mount, 18 Mount View Court, Town of Chatham, Medway District, Kent, England[9].
With the 1911 Census, John (Hill) has passes away and she is now married and living with her second husband, Charles Andrew (Munden); Charles' widowed mother, Martha (Payne/Munden) and her son, Thomas Charles Walter (Hill). They live at 70 Saxton Street, in the Town of Gillingham, Gillingham Parish, Medway District, Kent, England[10]. The England and Wales Register of 1939 shows her living on her own as a widow in the Town of Orpington, south-east London, located in the historic county of Kent[11].
Death/Burial
Jane Elizabeth Charlotte (Hurlock) passes away on the 18 June 1951 at St. James Hospital, Trafalgar Road, Town of Gravesend, on the south bank of the River Thames (opposite the Town of Tilbury in Essex), in Kent, England. She was 69 years of age[12]. She is interred on the 20 June 1951 in the Woodlands Street Cemetery, in the Town of Gillingham, in Kent. Her grave is located in Section: CI; grave number 1193 (U)[13].
