Mrs. W. L. Ferguson, 338 East Eldorado street, died in St. Mary's hospital at 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, following a long illness with heart trouble and complications. She had been in the hospital since April 10, and had been in failing health since the death of her husband six years ago. Katherine Jane Imboden was born in Annville, Pa., Sept. 21, 1855, the daughter of Adam and Layah Carmene Imboden, She moved with the family to Decatur early in her life, and had lived here since. She was married to W. L. Ferguson, Oct. 28, 1874. Mrs. Ferguson. was for many years, active in women's activities in the First Methodist church. She Is survived by two children, Mrs. I. C. Nicholson and Fred Ferguson of Decatur; two granddaughters Helen, who is Mrs. William Russell, and Katherine, who is Mrs. Norbert Broden, both in California; and one sister, Mrs. F. O. Riggs of Decatur. Both granddaughters and their husbands are in moving pictures in Hollywood. Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 o'clock Friday afternoon in Moran's chapel, with Rev. F.W. Ingvolstad of First Methodist church in charge. Burial will be In Fairlawn cemetery.
