Biography
Elin Maria was born in Torsåker parish 12 February 1882 to Karl Fredrik Ingman and his wife Sofia Bernhardina Moberg in Hoo.[1] In 1889 the family moved to Älvkarleby.[2]
Elin Maria Ingman married the widower Karl Johan Hedfors 11 January 1907.[3] Karl Johan Hedfors went to America in March 1911. Elin Maria and several children followed him in June 1912.[4]
At the time of the census 1920 Carl J Hedfors was a carloader in Minneapolis. His wife Ellen was a chocolate dipper in a candy factory, while the children, Ellen, Erick and Olaf, presumably still were at school.[5]
By the time of the census 1930 they have changed their family name to Hedford.[6]
Carl Johan died in 1945. Ellen M. Hedford died 11 December 1961.[7]
