Biography

Liboria was born in 1848, daughter of Filippo Insinga and Maria La Sala ^[1]. Her first marriage, date unknown, was with Giuseppe Abruzzo ^[2]. She was widowed and in 1885 at around age 37 she married 23-year-old Ignazio Madonia ^[3].

Liboria was named for her maternal grandmother, Liboria Armato.

There is no birth record for Liboria in Santa Margherita in years 1849 through 1863. It is assumed that this 1848 birth record is hers.
