Biography

Joseph Henry Irving was the son of Joseph Henry Irving and Eunice Thompson. Joseph's birth was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1866 in the Greenwich district.[1] Joseph, son of Joseph Henry Irving & Unice, was born on 19 August 1867 and baptised on 28 March 1869 in Deptford, Kent, England.[2]

Joseph (age 27), son of Joseph Irving, married Annie Sarah Jackson (age 26) on 24 July 1892 in Kennington, Surrey, England.[6]

In the 1911 census Joseph (age 44), Perfumers mixer, was the married head of household at 91 Brixton Road SW, Lambeth, London & Surrey, England.[7] He was recorded with his wife Annie, and a daughter Sibilla.

He married a second time, his wife being named Emma Hollingshead. [8]The 1939 register records them living in Lambneth, with Joseph being a retired insurance messenger. [9]

Joseph's death (age 77) was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1944 in the Lambeth district.[10]
