Emma Ellen Isbister was born in 1890. She passed away in 1957.[1]

By 1911, aged 21, she had married John Elton Clafton and they were living in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan. She declared she was born in Saskatchewan and was a Canadian citizen of Scottish background.[2][1]

On 1st Jun 1921, Ema (sic) Clafton, aged 31, occupation None, was living with her husband John (30), son James (7), daughters Amie (9) and Georga (sic) (5), at 121 High St, R M of Weldon, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. She was born in Saskatchewan and was a Canadian citizen of Irish background.[3]

In 1935, aged about 45, she was a Married Woman, living in Kinistino, Saskatchewan, and registered to vote in the Melfort electorate.[4]

On 1st Apr 1950, Emma E. Clafton, aged 60, and married, was a Housekeeper and living with her husband John E. Clafton (58), and sons John E. Clafton Jr (20) and Glen Clafton (18), at 73 Going N. on Highway 38, Arbo, Itasca, Minnesota. Her birthplace was Canada and she was a naturalised US citizen.[5]
