Biography

Born William Jackson was born about 1803 in that part of Virginia that later became West Virginia. [1]

Marriage William married Lucinda Petty, daughter of George and Susan Petty, on 30 Aug 1827 in Wood Co., that area of Virginia that later became West Virginia. [2] They went on to have 7 known children over the next 20 years.

Additional Research Needed

No burial information has been found for either William or Luncinda. And no documented source for William's parents though a descendant's DNA results indicate a connection to the Robert Jackson who settled in Hempstead, Long Island, New York.

By 1880 it appears that Lucinda has died and William is living next to his son Henry. Henry's son Charles and his new wife and child are living with William.
