Biography

Born William Jackson was born about 1803 in that part of Virginia that later became West Virginia. ^[1]

Marriage William married Lucinda Petty, daughter of George and Susan Petty, on 30 Aug 1827 in Wood Co., that area of Virginia that later became West Virginia. ^[2] They went on to have 7 known children over the next 20 years.

Additional Research Needed

No burial information has been found for either William or Luncinda. And no documented source for William's parents though a descendant's DNA results indicate a connection to the Robert Jackson who settled in Hempstead, Long Island, New York.
