20 April 1926 Paterson's Status As a Candidate COURT ASKED TO DECIDE. ROCKHAMPTON, Monday. In the Supreme Court, before Mr. Justice Brennan, on Saturday, the application tor an injunction by Lewis Macdonald against Mr. F. W. Paterson and Mr. Power, of Gladstone, in connection with the Port Curtis seat, was heard. Mr. Larcombe appeared for the plaintiff, and there was no appearance of or on behalf of the defendants. Mr. Larcombe said this was a matter which he could not ask the Judge to hear ex parte, and he asked that a summons be served on defendants. He read an affidavit by Daniel Daly Jackson, Gladstone, secretary of-the Port Curtis branch of the A.L.P. ^[4]

20 July 1950 ACCIDENTS AT GLADSTONE Daniel Daly Jackson, 53, foreman, Gladstone Town Council, received deep lacerated wounds on the head over the right eye and forehead as the result of colliding with an electric light pole in Goondoon Street,^[5]
