Marte Jacobsdatter was born in Norway
Marte was born in 1729 at Vestsida, Porsgrunn.[1] She was the daughter of Jacob Nielsen and Lisbet Bentsdatter.[1][2]
She is named in the probate after her father at Østsida, Porsgrunn in 1737.[2]
