Biography

Birth

In the year of the Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty-seven, on the thirteenth day of the month of November, I, Paul Herthweck, baptized a child born of Conrad Jacob, citizen, and Margaretha Richter, his lawful spouse, to whom was imposed the name Joseph.[2]

Marriage

Joseph Jakob, son of Conrad Jakob and Magdalena Richter, married Christina Wenninger, daughter of Michael Wenninger and Maria Eva Lechler, in the village of Obergrambach in Baden on 17 Sep 1794.[3]

Mentioned in son's marriage record: Michael Jakob, a widower, 38, son of Joseph Jakob and Christina Weninger, and Magdalena Halter, 20, daughter of Moritz Halter and Anna Rojer, were married in the village of Selz on the 9th of May 1837. Benedikt Zarenba officiated the wedding and Adam Jakob and Martin Eisenmenger were witnesses of the union. [4]
