Wallace Jonathan James, 70, of 314 Wellington Street, died unexpectedly at 2 a.m. Monday of a heart attack at his home. He was born April 11, 1876, at South Troy, VT, son of Jonathan and Eliza James.
He married Anna M. Stickman May 22, 1898, at Nashua. He farmed there until coming to Waterloo 20 years ago.
Before retiring in December 1945, he worked for several Waterloo industrial firms.
His wife; a daughter, Mrs. Myrle Hume; sister, Mrs. Gertrude Buel of Minneapolis; and one grandson, Thomas Hall Hume, survive.
Service will be at Kearns Garden Chapel. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua.
