Biography

George William Janos was born on October 17, 1907 in Pennsylvania, United States, son of John Janos (~1860–1943).

In 1930, George (22) Janes was in the household of John Janes in Minneapolis (Districts 1-250), Hennepin, Minnesota. [1]

In 1940, George (32) was in the household of John Janos in Minneapolis, Hennepin. [2]

George registered for the draft for World War II. [3]

George (40) married Bernice Martha Lenz (29) (born on June 27, 1918 in Independence, Buchanan, Iowa, United States; daughter of Albert Wilhelm Johannes Lenz and Martha Hulda Wilhelmina (Kemper) Lenz) on November 19, 1947 in Independence, Buchanan.[4]

George died on April 11, 1991 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, aged 83. He was buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA (plot: Section Y, Site 868).[5] [6] [7]
