Mariota was born in 1380. Mariota Jardyne ... She passed away in 1426.
John Boswell, designed Sir John Boswell of Balgrevy, who anno 1400, October 10th, at Kinghorn is contracted in marriage with Margaret, sometimes designated Mariot, eldest daughter and heiress of Alexander Jardyn (brother to Sir Humphred Jardine of Applegirth) by his wife Margaret Abernethy, daughter and heiress to John Abernethy, by which alliance Sir John Boswell became possessed of the lands of Craigincat, easter and wester Balglalys, all in the constabulary of Kinghorn, and twenty pounds sterling by annuities out of the thanedom and lands of Balkelvy in the shire of Aberdeen, also Jardyn's Isle in the church of Kinghorn.
