Marie Euphrosine Jared/Jarret dit Beauregard was born in 1800.[1] Her place of birth is confirmed by the census of 1851-1852.
She married Joseph Côté, son of François Côté and Françoise Morisset, in Saint-Hyacinthe, Lower Canada, in 1818.[2] The family lived from farming.
In 1851-1852, they were living in Saint-Dominique in the household of Joseph Blanchard and Marie Côté, almost certainly their son-in-law and daughter. Joseph was a rentier. Several other Côtés in the household were likely children of Joseph and Euphrosine: François (aged 31), Michel (21), and André (19). Those children were born in Sainte-Rosalie. The house was a one-storey wood structure.
Married children listed in a Côté family history include:
Further, son Pierre married Hermine Guilbert in Saint-Hyacinthe in 1850.
Euphrosine passed away in 1860 and her body was laid to rest in Saint-Dominique.[4]
