John was born in Kansas in 1874, the son of Edward Jenkins and Martha Jarvis.[1] He married Eva A. (Pratt) Beard in Kansas in 1907.[2] John passed away in Arizona in 1923,[3] and is buried in Emporia, Kansas.[4]
