Reverend FRANCIS JENKS was born Aug. 11, 1798 and , died in 1837. He married, Apr. 24, 1823, SARAH H. PHILLIPS of Andover, sister of Wendell Phillips and daughter of Hon. John and Sarah (Walley) Phillips, born Apr. 24, 1799. She married (2) in 1840, Prof. ALONZO GRAY of Andover, Mass.
Reverend Francis Jenks was a graduate of Harvard University in 1817 and was publisher of the Christian Examiner of Boston. Francis married Sarah Hurd Phillips on il 1823 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.[1]
