He was the son of Henry Jenney. He was born at Lisburn, 1681.
He was educted by Mr Harvey of Lisburn and entered Trinity College Dublin on 22 December 1697, aged 16. Sch. 1699; B.A., 1702 ; M.A., 1705 ; B.D. and D.D., 1718. [1]
He was collated Prebendary of Mullaghbrack on 20 January 1707. (FF.) In 1732 he resigned his prebend, and was collated Archdeacon of Armagh, on March 5th ; installed March 15th. In April, 1738, he resigned the archdeaconry, and was made Rector of Armagh.
