William Jephson age 27, bachelor, warehouseman of 3 Brighton Street, Nottingham, son of Samuel Jephson, frame-work knitter, married Elizabeth Elliott, 26, spinster, of Colville Street, Derby, daughter of James Elliott, elastic web maker, by banns at St Barnabas Church, Derby, on 3 September 1898. Witnesses were Henry John Blackman Smith and Harriet Elliott.[1]
