Biography
Jane was apparently born on 16 June 1853 in Perth, Western Australia, although no birth record has been found.
She married Henry Samuel Ranford on 14 July 1877 in Perth.[1]
- We regret having to announce the death of Mrs. H. S. Ranford, which occurred at the residence of her husband, West Perth, this morning. The deceased lady, who was a daughter of the late Mr. R. R. Jewell, had been con fined to her room for a considerable time past, consequently the sad event was not unexpected. The late Mrs. Ranford leaves a family of several children, the majority of whom are of tender years.[2]
