Violet (Jewett) Wiles was born in Wallsend, Northumberland, England.

Violet Richardson Jewett (also Jewitt), daughter of Mark Albert Jewett (1844-1907) and Lucy Richardson (Burton) Jewett (1862-1938), was born on 7 October 1901^[1] at 19 Albert Tce, Wallsend, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England^[2] and was baptised on 26 October 1901 at St Luke, Wallsend, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England.^[3]

Violet's father died in 1907, and in 1911, 9 taer old Violet and her siblings, brother-in-law and mother were a Butcher Family at 25 Albert Terrace, 35 Buddle St, Wallsend, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England.^[4]

Violet Richardson Jewitt married David Havre on 9 April 1924 at Leighton Primitive Methodists Church, Heaton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England.^[5][6]

In 1939, Violet and David were at 45 Cotswald Gardens, Newcastle-on-Tyne, Northumberland.^[1]
