Jakobine (26) married Jens Pedersen (23) (born on December 27, 1858 in Hjørundfjord; son of Peder Mortensen and Ingeborg Jensdatter) on January 29, 1882 in Hjørundfjord.^[4] Their children were:

Jakobine died on August 12, 1925 in Otter Tail, Minnesota, United States, aged 70. She was buried in Kinkead Cemetery, Alexandria, Douglas County, Minnesota.^[9][10]
